Manhattanville College is a private, coeducational liberal arts college offering undergraduate and graduate degrees, located in Purchase, in New York. The Manhattanville alumni magazine is published annually, featuring information about notable alums, college programs, activities, and achievements of alumni students, faculty, and staff.
I worked on the new design of the magazine, creating a layout with a new look and feel. The redesign included the front and back covers, the interior layout—credits page, table of contents, reports, and alumni news pages, and a new magazine header.
The goals of the redesign were engaging readers on the college’s programs; motivating participation in giving opportunities for funding academic research, student scholarships, and campus facilities; and providing an integrated design solution consistent with the college’s branding. The total press run was 26,000 units, with 20,000 mailed to the alumni, and the balance delivered to the college campus.
